Unitarians are committed to Justice based on established truth, and in the case of Climate change, the most important truths established by science are:

• The level of CO2 in the atmosphere has risen by about 30% in the last 100 years and is increasing rapidly. For more details click here.

The climate change described above is having bad effects on increasing numbers of people, particularly poor people living close to the sea. For detailed information click here.

Climate change is mostly the result of fossil fuels being burnt in relatively rich countries. The impact is mostly felt, currently, in poor countries.
