Covenant Groups

To expand our Shared Ministry together, we are re-establishing Convenanting Groups. A covenant group is a small relational group made up of six to twelve people who meet regularly to establish and nurture themselves in their own beloved community. The beauty is that since we as a community subscribe to the Soul Matters curriculum, we have access to their Small Group Ministry packets that give potential groups the opportunity to connect with each other on a spiritual level without extra work! Activities

At UUFS, there are a variety of activities for members and friends to connect, discuss, and engage. In addition to our Sunday Services and special events, we have:

• Circle Suppers that meet each month for a coordinated potluck at the houses of some of our members.
• Men’s and women’s groups that meet weekly or biweekly for conversation and friendship
• A weekly meditation group
• A monthly book group for lively discussion
• A monthly, inter-congregational game night for family-friendly fun
• Social Justice meets monthly to plan social justice activities.

All are welcome to join any of our groups. Email the group for more information. There are also many opportunities to volunteer.
