She Rises Up, a film by Maureen Castle Tusty, reveals the explosive implications of women’s economic participation as we follow radically different women from Sri Lanka, Peru and Senegal who are fighting to build businesses that create job opportunities for women,while also contributing to the reduction of poverty in their communities.

We will screen the film 90 min. virtually. The event will open at 7:00 p.m. and the film will start at 7:15 p.m. to be sure everyone interested has logged on. We will allow time after the film for a short discussion.
