Guest At Your Table
Our Annual Guest at Your Table Campaign
To donate to our UUFS fall 2024 Guest at Your Table campaign go to our UUFS GAYT personalized donation page. You can also write a check made out to UUSC (memo line: UUFS GAYT) and place it in the Sunday collection basket, or donate via the QR Code at the coffee hour from November 10 through December 14.
Your gift can be double, tripled or even quadrupled! Member Janet Werkman has committed $5000 to matching donations of any size, and the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock will match all donations of $150 or more. Many employers will match employee donations to 501(c)(3) non-profits such as UUSC.
Supporting the UU Service Committee
Guest at Your Table (GAYT) is UUSC’s longest-established fundraising and educational program for congregations. For many years, UUFS members and friends have consistently donated an impressive amount of money to our annual GAYT campaign. We one of a handful of congregations to consistently be awarded a “Guest at Your Table Special Recognition.” UUSC has thanked our congregation: “Our human rights work is only possible because of people like you. We deeply appreciate your successful efforts to raise awareness of our partners’ critical contributions to the world.”
The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization advancing human rights together with an international community of grassroots partners and advocates. UUSC supports self-determination and defends the rights of people displaced due to climate, conflict or economic hardships. UUSC also responds to humanitarian crises as partners with people whose access to aid is most limited.
