Justice Overview
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors. We borrow it from our children.” – Native American Proverb

UU Climate Justice Revival
- UUFS Worship Service was held 9/22/2024
- Climate Revival Workshop @ UU Church Palo Alto was held 9/28/2024
- UUFS Sunday Supplement was held 10/6/2024
The entire UU ecosystem is organizing for climate justice action. There is power in numbers, and UUs around the world are joining hands this fall. At our UUFS Sunday Supplement, we:
- Created a representation of the challenging realities for climate justice in our community
- Identified potential community care actions for climate justice that we might take
Social Justice and Climate Action at UUFS will be honing ideas for potential actions and then sharing those ideas with the congregation. To find out more, contact social.justice@uufs.org or visit uuclimatejustice.org.
UU the Vote Continues Through October
Thanks to all who are participating in getting out the vote via Reclaim Our Vote postcards (mail by 10/15) and Vote Forward letters (mail by 10/29). If you’d like to sign up for 5 or more Vote Forward letters, go to votefwd.org.
