The Book Group typically meets on the fourth Friday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from October through April and at 1:30 May through September (weather permitting). We occasionally meet on a different day or time, so please check the Events Calendar. On the third Friday of November we meet to share poetry. This group has spirited discussions of books, both fiction and nonfiction, nominated by those who attend. We meet in a member’s home. August: Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green.

In this book, John weaves Henry’s story together with the scientific and social history of tuberculosis—tracing how the disease has shaped our world, and how the choices we make now will shape its future.
