PACT Training

This fourth training sponsored by PACT (People Acting in Community Together) will be co-hosted by UUFS and the Congregational Church of Sunnyvale. Everyone is invited to attend.
This is a new PACT branch of the statewide multifaith organization composed of several church congregations in the Sunnyvale/Mountain View area. The aim is to work together towards change on issues in our local community such as homelessness, housing, and living wages. The goals of these trainings are to raise awareness, connect with each other, and present actions or activities people can take towards these common goals.
Part of the focus of this meeting will be to offer information on two propositions that will appear on the November 6th California ballot that affect affordable housing statewide, Propositions 1 and 10. A PACT representative will also provide an overview of trends in the last 10 years.
