Neighboring Faiths for Adults

This popular comparative religion class will focus on visiting the worship services of other faiths. Each month we will cover a different religion and participants will get to vote on religions that they would like to study. There will be some journaling/collage homework involved in the classes. We have taught this class to our middle schoolers in the past, but this version has been customized for adults by UUFS member Joshua Levy.
Most months we will meet on a Sunday evening to learn about the religion, visit a worship service the following weekend, and have a meal afterwards to discuss what we experienced. For some religions we may have a second Sunday evening class rather than a visit, or have a second class the Sunday after the visit.
Enrollment will be limited to 9 people so we ask that participants try to attend all classes and  services, as hearing the same people discuss different religions is a valuable part of the process. Note that class attendees will miss our services once a month when we visit the services of other faiths that also meet on Sunday mornings.
