Environmentalism in the Time of Pandemic

The worldwide pandemic has upended life as we know it and presents not only an epic social psychological experiment that is going to ripple out through the future, but also raises some interesting questions about the environment. Nature is reasserting itself in some interesting ways, and maybe some of the behavioral changes we’ve been forced into will find a way to continue even after the pandemic passes.
Our speaker this Sunday, UUFS member Ursula Syrova (aka “Ursula Minor”), gets to think about these things a lot as she works from home as the Environmental Programs Manager for the City of Cupertino.
