Bringing in the New Year

During our service this Sunday we will spend some of our time together looking back and reflecting on the year that will shortly be coming to a close, and we’ll also have time to imagine ourselves into the future of the new year that will begin at midnight. There will also be an opportunity to share our thoughts on the passage of time in our lives and to walk the labyrinth.
As there is no regular RE curriculum planned for this Sunday, we invite any of our children who want to stay with us for the entire service to do so. As we did last Sunday, we will have activity bags available for the children who want to stay with us in the sanctuary. Childcare and other activities will also be available for any of our children who do not choose to stay for the whole service. We are offering a special invitation to our middle school and high school aged youth to join us for, and participate in, the entire service this Sunday. Parents, please let them know that.
