Shephard Hall

Equal Exchange sells foods that have been grown with love and care. They work only with companies that do not use harmful pesticides and give women equal pay, not to mention refraining from cooperating with farms that have child labor. Almost two million children in West Africa are put to work at extremely young ages to make chocolate. Child labor is a big issue, and by purchasing fair trade products, you are helping to end it.

Sunday there will be a table in Shephard Hall where our youth will be happy to help you purchase these products. 40% of the profits from this fundraiser will go to our Fellowship. Both cash and checks are accepted. This is a spectacular opportunity that supports equality and the fair treatment of children and women, as well as our church, our community, and the world.
